Community Works

If you work for Kingston Council you are eligible for Volunteering Kingston’s Employer Supported Volunteering programme, Community Works.

What is Community Works?

The programme offers Employees of the council the chance to spend up to three days per year (pro rata) volunteering for the benefit of the local community. It’s a chance to volunteer without losing annual leave, gain first-hand experience of the amazing community projects across the borough as well as the opportunity to offer your valuable skills to local organisations.

You can sign up as an individual or as a team if you wanted to make it a group volunteering event.

Volunteer opportunities available on the Community Works programme:

Get closer to nature with Nature Conservation Volunteering for the Environment Trust

Support those looking for work at Kingston Library

Cultivate your gardening experience at Hogsmill Community Garden
