Community Works for Organisations

What is Community Works?

A programme specifically for Royal Borough of Kingston Council employees Community Works offers staff the chance to spend up to three days per year (pro rata) volunteering for the benefit of the local community.  Participants can sign up as an individual or as a team to make it a group volunteering event.

How can your organisation get involved?

If you’re looking for volunteers then the Community Works programme can help. Volunteers can give up to 3 days of their time but they can also stay on as a regular volunteer after that. We’re looking for all types of volunteering, such as nature conservation and environment, event stewarding, charity donations sorting, employment skills support, organisation infrastructure support (such as book-keeping, admin support, communications & fundraising), plus more.

Staff come with a range of experience and skills that they can offer to your organisation as well as a desire to support their community.
