DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to join Volunteering Kingston to celebrate the volunteers and organisations that make this Royal Borough so unique. \nThe celebration will take place on Tuesday 4 June 2019 at the Kingston Quaker Centre\, offering a serene lunchtime getaway to the treelined venue which is nestled beautifully in a green area just outside Kingston centre. \nThe event offers individuals the opportunity to discover more about the organisations and community groups which make Kingston such a peaceful and progressive Borough to live in. We encourage those who dream of volunteering to come along and find out how they can give back to their community and those who already take part in this generous activity to come and celebrate their achievements. \nOrganisations from all areas of the Royal Borough will be in attendance to advertise their volunteering opportunities and meet people in the community. Expect a celebratory day of networking and workshops as we work together to create positive change and preserve the high standards of community groups in the Borough. \nThe event will occupy two halls in the venue\, offering workshops\, networking and an awards ceremony. The awards will include certificates to award volunteers for their contribution to Kingston. \nIndividuals can register their attendance or just walk-in on the day between 1 pm and 3 pm. If you are an organisation which would like to have a stall at the Fair\, please reserve one in advance. \n
